City of Sinj

Sinj is a town in Croatia within the Split-Dalmatia County. It is the center of Sinj and Cetina region. According to the 2011 census, the administrative area of the city had 24,826, and the city itself 11,478 inhabitants.^[2]

Sinj is known in Croatia and beyond for the Sinj Alka, a knight's game that has been held in Sinj since the beginning of the 18th century as a sign of victory over the Ottoman invaders, and the shrine of Our Lady of Sinj.

Trilj is a city in Croatia, located in Split-Dalmatia County. The position on the communication route between the coast and the interior of Dalmatia, at the place of the most favorable crossing over the river Cetina just before its canyon bed, determined the role of Trilj in the past, determines it today, and will certainly be in the future. Numerous archeological finds have been preserved in the area of the town of Trilj, which testify to the continuity of life since the earliest prehistoric times.

City of Knin

Knin is a town in Croatia, in Šibenik-Knin County. It is one of the oldest cities in Croatia, but also in Europe. For the first time in written sources as a city (poleis) mentions 7 BC in Strabo's Geography under the old name Ninia.

In prehistory, Knin was the only settlement of the Early Bronze Age in the eastern Adriatic, in ancient times Knin was one of only four Delmatian cities, and in the Middle Ages the city was the capital of Croatian kings and Croatian bishops. Knin also plays an important role in recent Croatian history.
